The Guinness World Record #BeatCancer event is officially over. It
ended 9am Pacific Daylight Time, October 17th.
Thanks to all of you who have tweeted, put up Facebook Posts &
mentioned #BeatCancer in your blogs. In the end, you helped raise
more than a penny per tweet. In all, these four cancer organizations
have earned over $70,000. Thanks to our sponsors: MillerCoors,

penny per tweet campaign to raise funds for cancer research through social media.
Due to an overwhelming response, thousands of tweeters helped set a new
Guinness World Record for the distribution of the largest mass message
through social media.
As a result, MillerCoors will join several other corporate partners
in making a meaningful contribution to some very worthy not for
profit organizations in the fight against cancer.
